ArthroCell bone allograft is a viable cellular bone allograft that contains cellular, scaffold and gel components derived from human bone. The scaffold is comprised of a proprietary blend of microparticulate cortical, cancellous and demineralized cortical allograft bone. The bone derived gel component is hydrophobic, resists irrigation and allows ArthroCell bone allograft to be molded for optimal handling. The cellular component consists of mesenchymal stem cells, osteoprogenitor cells and a cell population that includes marrow-isolated adult multilineage-inducible (MIAMI) cells.
