Product Overview

The medial distal tibia is part of the O’Nil system, characterized by conical coupling between the head of the screw and the bushing, which is pre-assembled on the plate. Realised in steel, it has been made with an anatomical profile to reduce the contact on the bone and to preserve vascularity. The configuration of the three proximal screws has been studied to support the tibia plateau.

INDICATIONS:
• Metaphyseal fractures of medial tibial plateau
• Open fractures of medial tibia plateau
• Open medial fractures associated with sinking
• Sunken fractures of the medial tibia plateau
• Segmental fractures of the proximal tibia
• Osteotomies

BENEFITS AND ADVANTAGES:
• Anatomic plate with a low profile
• The angular stability prevents the mobilization of screws; O’nil internal fixator preserves the bone vascularity and allows an early functionality
• The three proximal screws allow a perfect synthesis of tibia plateau
• The locking system allows a bicortical fixation
• Plates realized in steel (AISI 316 LVM – ISO 5832-1) to allow magnetic resonance imaging; screws and bushings realised in titanium Ti6Al4V – ISO 5832-3
• SEasy and intuitive instruments
