Model 1016 was developed for individuals with moderate quadriceps weakness. The spring arrangement provides force to resist flexion during weight bearing and assist extension during swing phase. Adjustments can be made to aid in creating a smoother, more uniform gait. It is available with aluminum or stainless steel uprights in straight or contoured models.
